con un dolce vita a UK-Part 4-MANCHESTER & RED'S STADIUM TOUR

20 June 2009,Saturday, no class as usual, we went to MANCHESTER,a place which took around 1hour time from Liverpool.


What people 1st impression when talk about MANCHESTER? I think most people associating it to MANCHESTER UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB (MUFC). Yes, it's true. Visiting to MUFC (Old Trafford), the formidable and richest football club in EPL, I think the second place in Europe which placed under Real Madrid, is most people dreams. We achived it. Although I'm not MU super fan (I'm Blues's fan), but it's proud to been there. I love football, MUFC should be attributed as well as D.Beckham， they make me in touch with football. If ask me what the feeling been there, it's really cool, it's worth. On the other hand, I really hope can visit to Chelsea's home (Stamford), I think I'll crazy just like what my MU supporters friends done when they reach their dream FC.


What else Manchester have beside MUFC? Comparing with Liverpool, Manchester considered as a city, more downtown & bustling while Liverpool as a small town with peaceful environment， Its own different unique features, I love both. Through my observation, i found that Liverpool have more younger pretty & handsome than Manchester, I saw elder mostly. Besides, many foreigners existed there especially China's chinese who seem very rich (all hand with those high-ended brand's shopping bags).


China Town, another feature in Manchester. China town existed everywhere, this is because chinese people are everywhere. Manchester's china town bigger and bustling than the Liverpool one (Liverpool's China Town like dead town). As 1st we plan to have our buffet dinner at one of the restaurants there, but it's doesn't made because of the expensive price, finally we splited in different groups, find food followed own preferences. McD was our choice, really full with the meal, 2 burgers(free 1 with student ID)+fries+diet coke. We do something embarrassed there, we took back a lot of peppers. I think i took more than 10packs, haha, actually I want to take more coz seems not enough, is it too greedy?But we doesn't do that as last.


The trip taken a whole long day, really tired but enjoying. This is the trip which the most numeruos we ride buses, I think around 10 times. Very enjoy the times we all gathered...we play....we crazy....we laugh.....Destinations was not the primary, the moments is the emphasis.

Elements of my Liverpool life

1. Walk-ing...from hostel-campus-hostel,30mins per intinerary...my leg swollen+pain. I think I can shop for whole day back to M'sia later and won't feel tired.

2. Warm clothing...how do I live without u, weather here is freaking cold like a freezer....trembling....But it really enjoy-ing, compare with the M'sia abominable weather, here is considered as heaven.

3. Ready food...various types, various flavor, various taste...the main reason is-it's very convenient, just few mins "ding" in microwave.(Im not cooking idiot, cooking is my strength, just lazy to cook here)

4. Date with my lappy...nothing else to do, the only thing can do at home is online...online & online....

5. Journey-ing...we go here and there, almost been to all places in Liverpool, everyday exploring and searching for new destination, seem like came here for travelling but not study, haha

6. Creating photo opportunity...as mentioned in last blog, taking photo is our mission. We take photo when we travel, on the street, during eating and etc...no matter whatever, whenever, just take it, camera is necessity always.



I really enjoy the life after been here 2 weeks times. No pressure only pleasure. Without homesick mood at all although this my first time leaving my family far apart, feel so sorry to them, I know they miss me so much there (especially my mom, she always hope 3months times fleeting quickly).

Been in Liverpool 1 week, I fully adapted except the freaking cold weather here.

What called a summer?No sunny day, only freezing everyday. This is UK summer day, it is uncomparable with M'sia's weather, torriding everyday, super hot. Although cold till trembling, but still very enjoyable here.

Picture speaks thousand words, taking photo is our mission, keep the memories forever...

After awaiting for few months, finally arrived in Liverpool.

Liverpool, a place which is totally different with M'sia.. weather(very cold even in summer; sunrise at 4am, sunset at 10pm), people(handsome&pretty+warm-hearted), culture, environment(historic & old buildings), food and etc, I love this place, it is much more peaceful than M'sia.

People always said that its difficult to adapted when exposure in a new and unfamiliar environment, but for me its not a problem, I still live as before.The only difference, I walk a lot here (nvm, I can slim down).

Before kick starting studying, me and friends play hard to the greatest extend, because we know that not enough time for us to play when the study started (many assignments are waiting for us).

Arrived Liverpool half week, we walk around (my leg seem want to broken, still moving on)， defiance the cool and windy weather (really cold till trembling), take many many photos as memory (no matter when & where；its rare for us to gathered, somemore in UK).
